The outer cover is made of a blend of breathable fibers, treated with a coating to have a high specific heat capacity, making it cool to the touch. The fabric is knitted for extra breathability & airflow to prevent heat build up throughout the night. Each mattress pad has an 18 inch integrated deep pocket stretch skirt which fits most mattresses even with a topper.
